Title: The Tip of the Blade

Main Characters: Lance Corporal McCormack (Cormac) and Staff Sergeant Frankford (Franky)

Other Characters: Vietcong assassins Slicer, Hardjob, and Berzerk.

Conflict: In the mountains of Dak To, two men, the lone survivors of a helicopter crash must contend with the enemy Vietcong who surround them.

Setting: Dak To, Vietnam. Mountainside. July 21st, 1967. Monsoon season – wet, hot, and humid. 

Rising Action:

Event 1: Swirling helicopter crashes into trees after being hit with rocket launcher.

Event 2: Cormac and Franky leap off of a waterfall into a raging river.

Event 3: Sheltered inside a cave under the ridge a wild dog growls.

Climax: Franky is hit in the leg by machine gun fire, Cormac spots assassin in tree.

Resolution: Cormac kills lone assassin with grenade. The men are rescued by medevac helicopter and are granted R & R on the beaches of Ko Phi Phi, Thailand

Title: That's Not Me

Main Characters: Natalia Snyder ("Nat"), Jennifer Gazelle ("Jen")

Other Characters: Blake Stewart, Britney Grimes, and Kirri Summers

Conflict: In the suburbs of Vancouver, a teenage girl, who has just moved from Halifax, must figure out who at her school is stealing her online identity.

Setting: Redwood High Co-educational Prep School, North Vancouver. March 2010. / Whistler/Blackcomb Ski Resort / Online Networking Site

Rising Action:

Event 1: Basketball teammate, Kirri Summers, confronts Nat before game, why she started a rumor on a social networking site. 

Event 2: Nat's friend Jennifer tells her in math class that her status has changed to "in a relationship with Blake Stewart", who happens to be the head cheerleader's (Britney Grimes') boyfriend.

Event 3: Nat is sitting in the principal's office, the police question her. 

Climax: Natalia is quietly hovered over Blake's computer looking at her social networking page that he created. 

Resolution: Police charge Blake with identity theft, and he is expelled from Redwood High. Natalia can now make a fresh start.
